ANA goes offshore to seek investment

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced it has established an investment management company in Singapore to access investment in the region. A recently completed re-structuring of the company’s business has placed 57 consolidated subsidiaries and 19 affiliates under the corporate umbrella of ANA Holdings Inc.
The aviation holding company, headed by former ANA airline boss, Shinichiro Ito, is the parent company of ANA and AirAsia Japan (to be disbanded in October) and a 38% shareholder in Peach Aviation, a low-cost carrier based in Narita with a large Hong Kong investor holding.
