Hong Kong-headquartered China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC) has appointed Christopher Dennis-Meyer as senior vice-president of marketing responsible for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Read More »

Based out of CALC's Dublin office, Dennis-Meyer will be responsible for boosting aircraft sales and running marketing campaigns in his target markets.

He has a proven leasing and marketing track record, most recently as the managing director and partner of Wings Capital Partners, a U.S. based aircraft lessor and private equity investor in the mid-life and part-out sectors. Prior to that, he held senior positions with Intrepid Aviation and Aviation Capital

CDB Leasing boots executive team

CDB Aviation Lease Finance, the aircraft leasing arm of China Development Bank, this week announced the addition of three members to its executive team. Rob Murphy will join the company as general counsel and COO; Pat Hannigan will assume the role of CCO and John Cunningham will take the position of senior vice president Asia-Pacific. The three executives will focus on strengthening the company's aircraft portfolio and expanding its market reach beyond the Mainland.

Murphy joins CDB from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, an international law firm, where he led the global aviation and asset finance team and the global aviation sector group.

Hannigan has three decades of experience in finance, marketing and sales. He formerly was with lessor, Avolon, where he was in charge of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He also was a founding shareholder of Avolon in 2010.

In his latest role, Cunningham was CIO of a private Singapore-based aviation investment fund. He spent more than 20 years with GE Capital Aviation Services, where he was CEO of Aircraft Capital Trust Management Pte. Ltd., a standalone lessor structured as a Singapore business trust, as well as managing director of Shannon Engine Support Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of CFM International.

THAI promotes Pokasem to alliances director

Thai Airways International (THAI) has promoted Kulkanda Pokasem from international corporate communications manager to director of alliance management, responsible for internal and external stakeholder communications and strategy execution.
