Air Mauritius defers A350s, signs ALC A330neo deal

Air Mauritius has deferred delivery of two A350-900s from 2020 to 2023. The Indian Ocean carrier placed an order for six A350-900s in 2014, of which two are on AerCap leases. Read More » It now expects two A350s in 2019, two in 2021 and two in 2023.
The airline also signed a long-term agreement with Air Lease Corporation (ALC) for two A330-900neos that will join its fleet in September and October next year. They will replace two A340-300s whose leases will expire in November and December 2018, respectively.
The two A330neos will initially serve the airline’s medium-haul routes to Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Delhi and Perth and will be configured with 28 business and 263 economy class seats, a new inflight entertainment system and Wi-Fi. The airline has six A340-300Es, two A330-200s, two A319s and three ATR72s.
