Airlines: Yangtze River Airlines, a HNA Aviation carrier, has been rebranded as Suparna Airlines. People: Avtrade has appointed Hannah Rose as a sales executive at its new office in Guangzhou, southern China. Cairns Airport, in Northern Queensland, has recruited Air Canada veteran, Paul McLean, as chief commercial officer - aviation. 

Routes: AirAsia will increase its Singapore-Langkawi A320 frequency from daily to ten a week from August 8. Air India will terminate its twice-weekly Delhi-Domodedovo B787-8 service on Sunday. Air New Zealand will increase Auckland-Buenos Aires B787-9 frequency from three to four times a week from March 25 to April 30. Austrian Airlines will resume five-weekly Vienna-Narita B777-200ER service beginning May 15. China Southern Airlines will add a three a week Guangzhou-Vientiane A320 service from September 27; it also will add a twice-weekly Shenzhen-Moscow A330-300 on September 28. Emirates Airline will fly double daily Dubai-Brussels B777-300ER on October 29. Eurowings will launch twice-weekly Munich-Bangkok A330-200 flights from July 15. Jin Air will resume twice-weekly Incheon-Cairns B777-200ER operations from December 22 through to January 31. Lufthansa will increase frequency on the Frankfurt-Nagoya A340-300 route from thrice- to five-weekly beginning March 25. Malaysia Airlines will increase frequency on the Kuala Lumpur-Delhi route from daily to ten-weekly from July 4; it will operate four flights a week with the A330-300 and six with the B737-800, instead of daily A330 service. Philippine Airlines (PAL) will resume thrice-weekly Manila-Abu Dhabi A330-300 flights from October 31. Qatar Airways will suspend daily service to Kigali from July 7 through to August 31. VietJet Air will increase Hanoi-Taipei A320 service from daily to eleven-weekly commencing July 21.
