Former Etihad Aviation Group CEO, James Hogan, has resurfaced in Switzerland. Read More »

Hogan this week notified people in his LinkedIn network of a job change, saying he was now in Geneva as the founder and chairman of Knighthood Capital Switzerland, a private equity firm.

The former Etihad boss and mastermind behind the group’s failed “Partners Model”, including bankrupt Airberlin and Alitalia, disappeared without a trace in May. Etihad had already announced he was leaving the UAE carrier from July 1, but no one at the airline was willing to disclose Hogan’s whereabouts from May until, well, now. Several enquiries from Orient Aviation went unanswered.
