Global Distributions Systems: Air Busan has extended its fares and inventory distribution agreement with Sabre. Read More » Last week, Virgin Australia implemented ‘Sabre Branded Fares’, which allows travel agents and online travel agents using the Sabre GDS to access enhanced branded fare functionality designed to simplify the retailing of Virgin Australia’s customized offerings.

Routes: Air India Express will launch a weekly Mangalore-Sharjah B737-800 flight on October 31. Air Macau will add a thrice-weekly Macau-Changzhou A319 route commencing January 1. Beijing Capital Airlines plans to launch a thrice-weekly Beijing-Copenhagen A330-200 on March 27, followed by thrice-weekly Beijing-Helsinki from May 30. Delta Air Lines will replace the B777-200LR with the A350-900 on the daily Detroit-Pudong route from May 17. Eastar Jet will launch a thrice-weekly Incheon-Kagoshima B737-800 service on November 1. Emirates Airline will increase Dubai-Male from thrice- to four-daily B777-300ER rotations beginning December 25. Hong Kong Airlines will resume thrice-weekly Hong Kong-Male A330-300 flights from January 16. Jeju Air will increase frequency on the Busan-Saipan B737-800 route from four-weekly to daily starting December 15. Juneyao Airlines will launch a thrice-weekly Nanjing-Sapporo A320 route on January 5. Thai Smile plans to add a four-weekly Phuket-Guangzhou A320 service on October 29.

Security: All Nippon Airways (ANA), Cathay Pacific Airways and Korean Air have joined the U.S. TSA Pre-Check programme. Singapore Airlines, Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways and Turkish Airlines already offer the service.
