LOT Polish Airlines will launch a three times a week Singapore-Warsaw B787 service from May 15. Read More » The Star Alliance member said it would increase frequency on the route to four times a week in July. LOT has added flights to Seoul in late 2016 and commenced flying to Astana in June. It also serves Tokyo Narita four times a week and Beijing thrice-weekly from its hub at Warsaw Chopin International Airport. The airline also offers B787 charters to Thailand and Bali.

“Nearly three million passengers travel between Europe and Singapore each year. We are positive that opening the new LOT connection provides an excellent opportunity for passengers from Central and Eastern as well as Western Europe,” said LOT CEO, Rafal Milczarski.

LOT’s Singapore route will expand Star Alliance’s dominance in the Singapore market, complementing Lufthansa’s daily flights from Frankfurt and Munich, as well as SWISS’ daily Zurich rotation.

LOT has a long-haul fleet of eight B787-8s configurated with business, premium economy and economy classes. In 2018, LOT will take delivery of three larger -9 Dreamliners.
