Rolls-Royce names launch customers for LessorCare programme

LessorCare gives customers access to all the services they need throughout the engine lifecycle, including faster and easier access to inventory, facilitating a maximum possible return on investment. The program also will ensure aircraft move more rapidly and efficiently between leases.
President and CCO of AerCap, Philip Scruggs, said: “We are delighted to be a launch customer for LessorCare. Having worked closely with Rolls-Royce to develop a service that gives us the choice and flexibility that we need across the life-cycle of our fleet of Trent-powered aircraft, we look forward to working together to further develop LessorCare as a platform for future growth.”

On Monday, Rolls-Royce announced an order from AerCap for Trent 1000 engines to power ten B787s in a deal valued at US$450 million at list prices. AerCap has options for a five Trent 1000-powered B787s.
