HNA’s Air Guilin sources two A320s from DAE

Air Guilin, an HNA Group carrier, has signed a contract with DAE to lease two A320 jets. Read More » The first jet was delivered to the Guilin-based airline on March 1 with the second to follow later this month. The addition of the leased airplanes will increase the A320s at the airline to seven. The carrier now serves more than 20 domestic routes.

Air Guilin is a joint venture between Guilin Tourism Development Co. (60%) and Guilin Aviation Tourism Group (40%), an HNA offshoot. The partners have invested 600 million yuan (US$95 million) in the airline.

DAE acquired Dublin-based AWAS in August 2017. On its website, DAE lists a portfolio of 344 owned and managed aircraft, including 125 A320 Family jets, 104 B737NGs, 44 ATR72-600s and 31 A330 Family aircraft.
