Druk Air orders an A320neo and an ATR42-600

Bhutan’s flag carrier, Druk Air, has ordered an A320neo and an ATR42-600, with deliveries scheduled for 2019. Read More » The A320neo will be configured with 20 business class and 120 economy seats, the airline said. The ATR will be in an all-economy aircraft.

Druk Air operates three A319s and an ATR42-500. The latter is used exclusively on short domestic hops while the A319s operate from Paro to Bangkok, Delhi, Dhaka, Guwahati, Kathmandu, Kolkata and Singapore. Paro Airport is located in a valley 2,235m above sea level. It has a single 1,965m runway.
