Okay Airways accepts first B737 MAX

China’s Okay Airways took delivery of its first B737 MAX 8 on Sunday. Read More » The budget carrier has “more than 20 MAX aircraft on order, comprising various MAX variants”, an airline source has told Orient Aviation. Okay Airways operates a fleet of 22 B737-800s and five B737-900ERs.
The carrier serves more than 50 destinations, including cities in Thailand, South Korea and the Philippines. This week, Okay Airways announced a Changsha-Puerto Princesa route.
Okay Airways plans to launch long-haul services from Beijing following the opening of the capital’s second hub airport in Daxing. For this expansion, it has ordered five B787-9s from the manufacturer.
