Peach to become Asia’s first A321LR operator

Japan’s Peach Aviation will become the first Asian operator of the A321LR, following the conversion of an existing order for two A320neo aircraft. Read More »

The two long-range A321s will join the Osaka-based low-cost carrier’s fleet in 2020, enabling the airline to fly routes with a stage length of up to nine hours.

The conversion was signed at the Farnborough Air Show by Peach managing director and CEO, Shinichi Inoue and Airbus CCO, Eric Schulz.

The A321LR has a range of up to 4,000nm (7,400km).

Peach currently operates a fleet of 20 A320ceo, on lease from GECAS, Avolon, SMBC and Fuyo General Lease. Following the conversion, the airline has eight A320neo and two A321LRs on order from Airbus.
