Malaysia Airlines Berhad schedules regular Jeddah A380 service

Malaysia Airlines Berhad’s (MAB) A380s are serving Kuala Lumpur -London Heathrow, Sydney and Tokyo’s Narita Airport. Read More » From October, the A380 will replace the A330 on flights to Seoul’s Incheon Airport. This week MAB announced the A380 would replace the A330 on its regular daily Kuala Lumpur-Jeddah flights from October 28.

The 4,285-mile journey is operated by a two-class A330-300 with 287 seats. The A380, with its 494 seats, thus marks a steep capacity increase on the route. Also, MAB has a first class cabin on the A380, which it will sell as business class on the Jeddah route.

In other MAB fleet and network updates, the oneworld member has taken delivery of all six on-order A350-900s. The A350s are primarily flown to London and Tokyo.
