Routes: Air China will convert its three times a week Beijing-Johannesburg B777-300ER route into a Beijing-Shenzhen-Johannesburg triangular service beginning January 3. The airline will also increase Shanghai-Munich from thrice- to four-weekly from April 3, going daily from May 1 with the A350-900. American Airlines will replace the B787-9 with the B777-300ER on its daily Los Angeles-Haneda service beginning June 6. Cathay Pacific Airways will upgrade its Hong Kong-Seattle A350-900 route to daily operations from July 1 to October 26; the service will launch as a four-weekly flight on March 31. China Southern Airlines will launch twice-weekly Guangzhou-Nagoya B737-800 flights on February 1. Jeju Air will launch a daily Incheon-Clark B737-800 flight on December 22. Scoot will increase Singapore-Hanoi A320 flights from five- to six-weekly starting February 4. Thai AirAsia will add a four-weekly scheduled charter Don Mueang-Yulin A320 route on December 9. T’Way Air will launch a five times a week Daegu-Clark B737-800 service on December 27.
