First All Nippon Airways A380 rolls out of Airbus paint shop with new livery

ANA has ordered three A380s and was the first Japanese customer of the aircraft type. The airline will take delivery of its first A380 in the first of next year in time for shoulder and peak season services between Tokyo Narita and Honolulu.

All three aircraft will carry the Green Sea Turtle livery but in different colors of blue for the first aircraft then green and orange liveries for the second and third planes. Airbus Hamburg artists took 21 days to paint a surface area of 3,600 square metres with16 different shades of color.

The aircraft is proceeding to cabin completion and final ground and flight testing and advanced aircraft performance tests in Germany before returning to Toulouse in preparation for delivery to ANA.
