Singapore Airlines and Garuda to increase codeshare

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Garuda Indonesia will expand their codeshare relationship to include flights between Singapore and Jakarta effective 31 March, according to Airline Route. Singapore Airlines said it was not announcing the codeshare and would disclose more information in due course.
The codeshare is so far only in economy class and only covers the nine daily narrowbody flights Garuda operates, according to Airline Route. SIA’s own Singapore-Jakarta network is nine daily widebody flights.
SIA and Garuda codeshare from Singapore to Denpasar and Surabaya while Silk Air and Garuda have a more extensive codeshare. Silk Air is being merged into SIA.
