CAAS to open ATM centre of excellence

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is establishing a centre of excellence for air traffic management (ATM). Research and development (R&D) investment is aimed at achieving greater capacity across the region and maintaining a high level of safety and service standards as air traffic movements increase.
At a conference later this month in Montreal, CAAS will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Single European Sky ATM research unit, which will give Singapore opportunities to partner with global ATM organizations and collaborate on advanced ATM R&D projects.
