PEOPLE: Communications technology company, Travelport, has appointed civil engineer and PwC-trained chartered accountant, Nick Bray, as its chief financial officer. Bray has spent 25 years in the technology sector, including nine years as CFO of Sophos, a group with an expanding business in cyber security technology systems.
AIRPORTS: Seoul Incheon has commenced a US$1.4 billion expansion that will increase its annual passenger handling to 106 million passengers by 2024.
MRO: AFI KLM E&M has received approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China to conduct MRO on LEAP 1A and 1B engines for all the engine’s customers in China.
ROUTES: Garuda’s Citilink plans to fly Denpasar to the Gold Coast, Queensland once a week from next week. Spring Airlines will operate Xiamen-Osaka five times a week from December 17. Skymark will launch Narita-Saipan and Narita-Nagoya on November 29. The Saipan destination is the carrier’s first international service.
