CDB Aviation Promotes Sign Kadouh to Head of Asia Pacific

CDB Aviation, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Limited (“CDB Leasing”), has promoted Sign Kadouh to Head of Asia Pacific. Read More »

Kadouh was previously Head of Commercial, Asia Pacific. In addition to continuing to lead the commercial team and driving commercial and strategic activity within the region, including Greater China, South Asia, Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australasia and the Pacific Islands, Kadouh will be the operational leader, managing the day-to-day activities of the company’s Hong Kong office. The lessor provides services to more than 40 airline customers.

Kadouh joined CDB Aviation in February 2017 as senior vice president, commercial. He has more than a decade of experience in aviation finance and legal and has spent nearly 10 years of his career working in the region. Before moving to CDB Aviation, Kadouh was vice president legal at International Lease Finance Corporation and AerCap (post the 2014 acquisition).


Second time around for Bansai at Air India

Secretary for India’s ministry of petroleum and natural gas, Rajiv Bansai, is returning to the country’s flag carrier, Air India, as chairman and managing director, succeeding fellow government bureaucrat, Ashwani Lohani.

Bansai, a civil engineer, ran the carrier for three months in 2017 before the appointment of Lohani for a three-year term. Earlier this month, the government announced that 100% of failing Air India was for sale.
