Read More » Under the new partnership, Aeroflot and JAL will code-share on each other's nonstop flights between Tokyo Haneda and Moscow Sheremetyevo.

JAL will add its JL airline code on 10 Aeroflot operated domestic services from Moscow Sheremetyevo, including to St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Sochi.

Similarly, Aeroflot will add its SU airline code on 10 domestic routes from Tokyo Haneda, including to popular tourist destinations Sapporo, Osaka (Itami and Kansai) and Okinawa.

"Both parties intend to increase code-share destinations, including Aeroflot’s new operation between Osaka Kansai and Moscow Sheremetyevo, scheduled to commence in June 2020," the statement said.
