Airbus names Remi Maillard president Airbus India and head of South Asia

Maillard, 40, joined Airbus in 2008, where he started his career leading a transformation program in Research and Development for Airbus Helicopters.
An engineer by training and an MBA from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris, Maillard spearheaded engineering activities for major Airbus helicopter programmes and held a key role in the development of the H175 as well as overseeing its entry into service as chief engineer.
His responsibilities as Head of Services have been to expand the company’s commercial aircraft services business and oversee maintenance, upgrades, flight hour series and training operations.
Maillard succeeds Anand Stanley, 43, who will move to Singapore as president Airbus Asia-Pacific. Both Stanley and Maillard report directly to Airbus chief commercial officer and head of International, Christian Scherer.
Boeing late last week appointed Michael D'Ambrose as executive vice president of human resources, succeeding Wendy Livingston. D'Ambrose, who most recently was senior vice president and chief human resources officer at agribusiness ADM, joins Boeing on July 6.
