Industry forecasts net losses to decline in 2021 IATA reports

The International Air Transport Association's (IATA) said overnight 52% of respondents to its January 2021 business confidence survey expected net losses to diminish in the next 12 months. The report noted the airline chief financial officers and heads of cargo survey was conducted before recent stricter travel restrictions were introduced by several countries due to new strains of COVID-19.
