Unions representing flight crews of Taiwan's main airlines have criticised a Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) proposal to require long-haul crews to sleep on board the aircraft rather than stay overnight in hotels during duty layovers, local media reported. Read More » Long-haul flights would carry two sets of crew on their services so staff would not have undertake home quarantine after returning to Taiwan. The union said the measures could compromise safety and affect the health of staff.
