Australia’s Jetstar borrows six A320s from Japanese LCC affiliate

Jetstar group CEO, Gareth Evans, told a CAPA conference yesterday the LCC group would temporarily transfer six A320s from its Japan affiliate to Australia, where there was "space for us to grow into", RoutesOnline has reported. Read More » The decision will reduce Jetstar Japan's fleet from 25 to 19 aircraft. Despite the shift, Qantas Group and Japan Airlines (JAL) remained very supportive of the North Asia LCC, Evans said. The LCC also has introduced four A320s from Singapore-based Jetstar Asia into it's fleet.
