Singapore reveals air travel bubble negotiations with Australia

Lee's comments followed confirmation Australia and Singapore were working to establish an air travel bubble to allow quarantine-free travel for those vaccinated for COVID-19. "Singapore is in discussions with Australia about mutual recognition of vaccination certificates and resumption of travel, with priority for students and business travellers," Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. "We also are considering the possibility of an air travel bubble for residents of Singapore and Australia to travel between both countries without quarantine," Australia's Deputy Prime Minister, Michael McCormack, told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation yesterday. The air travel bubble could potentially begin in July.
