Thailand’s Nok Air given more time to produce rescue package

Thailand-based LCC, Nok Air, said in a regulatory filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand yesterday it had been granted a one-month extension to submit its business rehabilitation plan to the Central Bankruptcy Court. Read More » The company had sought an extension to the previous March 15, 2021 deadline "due to the rehabilitation plan containing several important aspects which required the all-aspect analysis, consideration and formulation of the debt structure, capital structure and organisational structure". Legal issues, contractual obligations with employees, business partners and debtors also had to be worked through in the package. The new deadline is April 15. Nok Air applied to the Central Bankruptcy Court for business rehabilitation in July last year.
