Taiwan and Palau will operate air travel bubble from April 1

Taiwan and Palau have confirmed an air travel bubble (ATB) will start on April 1 with two flights a week between Taipei and the Pacific Ocean island nation flown by China Airlines (CAL). Read More » Taiwan’s Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) said CAL would serve the route with 737-800s carrying a maximum of 110 passengers. The remainder of the aircraft's 158 seats will be occupied by Palau officials or members of Taiwan's Palau embassy, local media reported. Initially, ATB passengers travelling to Palau must be part of organised tour groups.
