Air New Zealand’s domestic business travel returns to 90% of pre-COVID-19 levels

Read More » While the numbers were down 32.4%, from 899,000 in the same month a year ago, they were a 7.6% improvement from 565,000 domestic passengers in January. In a further positive, domestic business travel has returned to 90% of pre-COVID-19 levels, which chief customer and sales officer, Leanne Geraghty, said was ahead of initial projections of being at 70% of pre-pandemic levels by 2022. "To recover to near normal levels this quickly really reinforces the strength of our domestic network and the desire of Kiwis to reconnect in person,” Geraghty said in a statement.
