Lessor BOC Aviation continues strong performance in fiscal first quarter

BOC Aviation said in a regulatory filing to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong yesterday it had 405 aircraft either owned or under management at March 3,1 2021. Read More » The figure was an increase of seven, from 398 aircraft at December 31, last year and the first time BOC's owned and managed portfolio had exceeded 400 aircraft. The lessor had 144 aircraft on order at March 31. BOC said it executed 45 transactions in the first quarter of this calendar year: 17 aircraft deliveries with three acquired by airline customers on delivery, the sale of six owned and one managed aircraft, commitments to purchase eight A320neo and 13 signed leases. BOC said the owned aircraft utilisation rate was 99.8% for the quarter.
