AirAsia Philippines said yesterday it will offer COVID-19 vaccinations to about 1,500 employees from next month, having identified a priority list of ground staff, pilots, cabin crew and staff with direct engagement with passengers. Read More » The LCC said it had partnered with government agencies and the private sector to secure an initial batch of COVID-19 vaccines for staff on priority lists. AirAsia Philippines CEO, Ricky Isla, has been vaccinated because he is a senior citizen. "It takes everyone to break the COVID-19 chain," Isla said. "I took the shot that is readily available because I believe it's our little share of putting an end to this pandemic. It is our responsibility to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and most importantly, the people we serve."
