South Korean carriers report improved domestic passenger demand in March

South Korean airlines carried 2.6 million domestic passengers in March, the Yonhap News Agency reported, citing figures from the country's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation. Read More » The figure was above the pre-pandemic figure of 2.57 million in March 2019, the report said. It was a 12.6% improvement from 2.31 million domestic passengers carried in February this year.
In other South Korean news, Jeju Air said yesterday it would resume nonstop flights between Seoul Incheon and Saipan on May 28.
