BOC Aviation names new chairman

BOC Aviation said in a regulatory filing to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on Friday Chen Huaiyu had been appointed as a non-executive director and the company's new chairman. Read More » The 50-year-old Chen replaced Sun Yu, who resigned as chairman in December 2020 after being appointed to a new role. In addition to this BOC Aviation appointment, Chen started as Bank of China executive vice president this month, having previously been general manager of Bank of China's Sydney branch and a director of Bank of China (Australia) and Bank of China (New Zealand) from November 2017 to February 2021.
