MHI's aerospace business narrows full-year loss

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) said yesterday its aircraft, defence and space business posted an operating loss of 94.8 billion yen for the 12 months to March 31, 2021, an improvement from a net loss of 208.7 billion yen 12 months earlier. Read More » Revenue at the aircraft, defence and space unit, which was responsible for Mitsubishi's SpaceJet program, was down slightly at 702.1 billion yen, from 704.9 billion yen a year ago, MHI said in a regulatory filing. The SpaceJet regional aircraft program was frozen in October 2020.
