ATR completes design for 42-600S short take-off and landing turboprop

Toulouse-based ATR, jointly owned by Airbus and Leonardo, said previously the 42-600S could take off from runways as short as 800 metres wi9th 40 passengers on board. Air Tahiti is the launch customer of the type with certification expected in 2023.
