Gulf’s dnata signs expanded five-year contract with Sydney Airport

dnata has signed a new five-year contract with Sydney Airport that includes expanding the air travel services provider's existing cargo facility by 4,800 square metres to 16,300 square metres. Sydney Airport, CEO Geoff Culbert, told shareholders at the company's annual general meeting the airport was handling about 14,000 passengers a week on flights to and from New Zealand under the air travel bubble between the two countries, about 30% of pre-COVID-19 levels. "With the benefit of time, the June long weekend and the July school holidays in the months ahead, we believe we will see a more sustained recovery in Trans-Tasman traffic," Culbert said in prepared remarks.
