THAI bankruptcy court hearing postponed after some creditors question rehabilitation plan

Thai Airways International (THAI) said in a regulatory filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) the country's Central Bankruptcy Court had rescheduled a hearing of the airline’s business rehabilitation plan to June 15. Read More » The court was due to consider the matter last Friday. THAI said two creditors had objected to the rehabilitation plan and the court had pushed back the hearing to assess their complaints. The rehabilitation plan, which was approved by about 91% of creditors at a meeting earlier this month, includes a proposed debt restructuring that featured a freeze on loan repayments for up to three years and the deferral of bond repayments, among other measures. The company has about 245 billion baht (US$7.8 billion) of debt to restructure.
