Hong Kong Airlines preparing for staff cuts, fleet grounding

The airline, part of HNA Group, will ground all of its A320s and operate eight A330-300s on cargo-only flights. In a notice to staff, the airline said necessary restructuring would build a more effective organisation. It asked staff to "remain calm and refrain from speculation until we communicate our plans in the coming days", the SCMP reported.
