Korean Air and Hyundai to increase sustainable aviation fuel production capacity

Korean Air (KAL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hyundai Oilbank to increase production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Read More » "Korean Air and Hyundai Oilbank will develop a foundation for biofuel manufacturing and its usage, explore opportunities for SAF usages in the market; raise awareness about SAF and propose relevant policies," KAL said.
"Through the partnership, Korean Air not only hopes to counter climate change caused by the aviation industry, but also to help commercialize SAF and explore other business opportunities.”
