All Nippon Airways launches Tokyo-Beijing cargo route

All Nippon Airways (ANA) will commence twice a week 767/F cargo flights between Beijing Capital Airport and Tokyo Narita from July 2. Read More » The Star Alliance member said the 767 freighter was chosen to operate the route amid increasing demand for cargo flights from the e-commerce industry, the PC-related parts sector and other electronic components sectors. "With supply chains under pressure due to unprecedented disruption, ANA will continue doing all it can to facilitate commerce and ensure the global economy remains on track for recovery," ANA executive vice president and president of ANA Cargo, Toshiaki Toyama, said. "If demand continues to grow, we are committed to remaining flexible in our approach by adjusting flight schedules and setting up charter flights in response to trends." The Beijing-Tokyo service will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays.
