Asiana Airlines signs air travel bubble with Northern Mariana Islands

Read More » The Star Alliance member has scheduled one flight a week between Seoul Incheon and Saipan, from July 24 and operated by an A321 aircraft configured with 174 seats. From August, Asiana intends to up-gauge the route to 180-seat A321neo. The governments of South Korea and the Northern Mariana Islands, a collection of 14 islands in the northwest Pacific Ocean, have established an air travel bubble that offers quarantine free travel to passengers fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Asiana’s managing director, Seon Wan-seong, said the airline was working with travel agents to develop passenger traffic on the route.
