The International Aero Engines (IAE) consortium, a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International GmbH, Japanese Aero Engines Corporation and MTU Aero Engines, has reached a milestone with its V2500 engine clocking up 250 million engine flight hours since its certification in 1988

SATS Ltd said in a regulatory filing to the Singapore Exchange it had completed the acquisition of 85% of Thailand-based Food City Company Ltd for S$21 million (US$15.5 million), a deal first announced on June 8. The existing owner, Bangkok Ranch PLC, will retain the remaining 15% of the company.
