Pratt & Whitney said overnight it had received more than 800 orders and commitments for its GTF engine this year.

SITA has acquired Paris-based Safety Line S.A.S. The start-up specialises in digital solutions for aviation safety and efficiency. The acquisition is an extension of a commercial partnership signed by the two companies in September 2020. Read More »

Turkish Technic said in a post on Linkedin it had signed an agreement with Malaysia-based aircraft maintenance company, Sapura Technics Sdn Bhd, "to evaluate potential investment opportunities".

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has appointed Brendan Sullivan as global head of cargo. Sullivan has been acting in the role since January.
