Indonesia's Super Air Jet outlines first six destinations

New Indonesian airline, Super Air Jet, will launch routes to Batam, Jakarta, Medan Kualanamu, Pamembang, Padang and Pontianak. Read More » Super Air Jet CEO, Ari Azhari, told local media the airline will serve the destinations daily. The airline, which received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in June, has three A320s in its fleet. A starting date for flights was not disclosed. Unconfirmed media reports have suggested Super Air Jet is linked to Indonesia's Lion Air Group, noting Azhari had previously worked at the privately-held airline group that includes Batik Air, Lion Air and Wings Air in Indonesia, Malindo Air in Malaysia and Thai Lion in Thailand.
