Air New Zealand to add 250,000 domestic seats to network from next month

In a note to travel agents, Air New Zealand (Air NZ) said it planned to add 250,000 domestic seats to its schedules from mid-August to October to support domestic tourism and encourage New Zealanders to travel to the regions. In addition to the capacity boost, the Star Alliance member has launched a domestic sale offering 300,000 seats at less than NZ$100 (US$69.80) each for travel on the carrier later in the year.
