Japan Airlines cancels more domestic flights

Japan's flag carrier has announced it will suspend another 3,126 flights from its domestic schedule from September 16 to September 30. Read More » Its latest update brings to 6,910 flights taken out of the Japan Airlines (JAL) schedule for the month. The airline already has said 3,784 flights across its in-country network would be cancelled in the first 15 days of September. The revised schedule will result in JAL flying 73% of its normal services for September, up three percentage points from a 70% operation rate for August. "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but would like to ask for the understanding of our customers during this unprecedented time," JAL said.
