SpiceJet receives BB- rating and stable outlook from Acuité

Indian carrier, SpiceJet, announced Acuité Ratings and Research Limited has assigned the company a BB- rating with stable outlook for its long-term debt instruments and an A4+ rating for its short-term debt instruments. Read More » "This is an upgrade from the previous 'D' rating assigned to the company last year," the LCC said in a regulatory filing to the BSE India stock exchange. In July last year, CRISIL Ltd, majority-owned by S&P Global Inc, downgraded its long-term rating for SpiceJet to C, from B/Negative, while the short-term rating was downgraded to D, from A4 previously. SpiceJet is expected to publish its latest financial report in coming days.
