Read More » Under the airline's revised flight schedule for the northern winter scheduling season, from October 31 to March 26 next year, flights from Tokyo Haneda to Istanbul, Milan, Moscow, San Jose and Stockholm have been delayed. There also has been frequency reductions on existing routes, with Tokyo Haneda-Bangkok down to as few as 14 flights a week compared with 21 flights a week under ANA's earlier schedule strategy. Additionally, Tokyo Haneda-Singapore is to be reduced to between two and seven flights a week, from a previously planned 14 flights a week. A host of international services remain suspended, including Tokyo Narita to Chennai, Perth and Phnom Penh. On the domestic front, ANA is adding flights on three routes, while reducing frequency on 12 others. "ANA has responded to the decline in demand for both domestic and international routes caused by COVID-19 by reducing flights and adjusting operations to optimize business," the airline said. "As demand in overseas markets continues to recover alongside vaccine availability and increasing vaccination rates, ANA expects demand within the Japanese market to follow. ANA will continue to closely monitor demand and is committed to increasing flexibility so that it can respond appropriately to future trends."
