Vietnam Airlines calls for investors in Pacific Airlines

Read More » The flag carrier said on its website that investors were being sought as part of the restructuring of LCC's shareholders under the direction of state management agencies. Previously, Pacific Airlines was known as Jetstar Pacific. In June 2020, joint owners, Vietnam Airlines and Australia's Qantas, announced the carrier would be rebranded. Qantas confirmed at the time it planned to sell its 30% shareholding in Jetstar Pacific, ending a 13-year involvement in the Vietnam-based LCC. The Qantas 2020-2021 annual results, out today, showed the 30% stake was "held for sale" at June 30 this year.
