HAECO Cabin Solutions said it would supply Cathay Pacific Airways with its Vector Economy seat for the airline's A321neo. Cathay Pacific general manager of customer experience and design, Vivian Lo, said the A321neo economy seat was similar to the design of cabin seats installed on the oneworld alliance member's A350-1000 fleet.

GE Aviation late last week conducted a ceremonial sod-turning ceremony at Australia's Brisbane Airport for the construction of a 3,312 square metre warehouse, scheduled for completion by mid-2022.

The oneworld airline alliance has released a carbon roadmap aimed at achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 through initiatives such as fleet modernisation, improving operational efficiency, the use of sustainable aviation fuel and carbon offsets. In September 2020, the 14-member alliance set a goal of net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Boeing has named former top GE executive, David Joyce, as a board director, effective immediately. The aerospace giant also announced Admiral Edmund Giambastiani Jr has informed the company he will retire from the board at the end of the year.
