Emirates Airline brings forward final A380 deliveries

Emirates Airline will bring forward delivery of the final A380 it has on order by seven months. Read More » It is now scheduled to be accepted by the Gulf carrier in November instead of next June. Dubai-headquartered Emirates said it would receive three more of the double decker aircraft this year, lifting the fleet to 118 of the type. Of those, six A380s will feature a four-class configuration that includes the airline's new premium economy offering. “We have come to an agreement with Airbus to bring forward the delivery of our remaining A380 orders and have secured financing for these units," Emirates president, Sir Tim Clark, said. “Emirates will continue to be the largest operator of this spacious and modern aircraft for the next two decades. We are committed to ensuring the Emirates A380 experience remains a customer favourite with ongoing investments to enhance our product and services."
